What will I learn?

Is Understanding Men even possible? Absolutely! And, we'll get you started with this event!

Biology has men and women see the world differently.  Not understanding our differences is the source of most of our disagreements and hurt feelings.

“When we begin to understand our differences and see the good reasons behind them, we can have compassion for each other and create true partnerships with all the men in our lives.”

This FREE event will be filled with many ha-ha’s and some ah-ha’s too!

You will learn:

1. How hunters and gatherers process information differently...the problems this causes in all areas of our lives, and what to do about it.

2. What causes Hunters and Gatherers to feel ignored and disrespected and how not understanding our differences contributes to these feelings.

3. How to make getting what you need and what makes you happy “Worth It” for men.  Plus, what destroys relationships and how to keep this from happening to you.

At the end of the event, you’ll have the opportunity to register for the last live  The Queen's Code Workshop (formerly known as the Celebrating Men, Satisfying Women® course) in the San Francisco Bay Area and take advantage of substantial discounts and free gifts offered only to women who attend this Understand Men event.

Topic 4 of 8:  (Don't worry, you can jump in anytime!)

Have you noticed that the men in your life (or maybe even you) have a ritual when they come home from work? or when we interrupt for a "quick question", is it hard to get attention sometimes?  Does it seem like he is doing "nothing"?  Learn why that happens and what it provides.  (Men, we love to have you there so you can share what it is like for you!)

It is likely that the women and men in your life have noticed this!  Learn what it why that is and what most men need to pay full attention when going from one thing to another.  So...what if there is a good reason and you know what to do to address that?

Women: As women, we can learn about these differences to make work and play more efficient and peaceful.

Men: This is a great class to better understand your own instinctual behavior.  It is likely you will see yourself in this teaching and provide insight to the women in the class!  By seeing the ways in which men and women differ, you will be able to support people in your life more effectively.

Men & Women: If you work with men, live with men, or interact with men, you will better understand how to effectively communicate, understand, and support each other.

WHO: All are welcome. This is a co-ed class .

WHAT: Free Co-Ed Class. Please RSVP as space is limited to 30 participants

Movie Night (Rowland Plaza) - Pixar's "Inside Out" (So many feminine/masculine funnies!)

Please join your PAX Community and have some fun watching a New Pixar movie that is about to be released, Inside Out, a hilarious animated comedy about the voices in our heads.  Here is a link to the movie trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HFv47QHWJU.

Plot Summary

Riley (Kaitlyn Dias) is a happy, hockey-loving 11-year-old Midwestern girl, but her world turns upside-down when she and her parents move to San Francisco. Riley's emotions -- led by Joy (Amy Poehler) -- try to guide her through this difficult, life-changing event. However, the stress of the move brings Sadness (Phyllis Smith) to the forefront. When Joy and Sadness are inadvertently swept into the far reaches of Riley's mind, the only emotions left in Headquarters are Anger, Fear and Disgust.

So many feminine/masculine funnies!

A few of our team members had a fantastic idea for us to host a co-ed social event to go see the movie and then go out for a drink/coffee/dessert after.

Even though this is a Pixar animated movie, this social event is "kid free"

Hosted by Janet Fjeldstad on behalf of PAX Community Connects

UnderstandMenSF.com

Cost:  Movie ticket and your drink/coffee/dessert.  Purchase your ticket online or when you arrive.

Please RSVP so our team members know to expect you.
